Gregory Daniels Fine Arts is a family run business that originated in 2001. Greg Daniels, along with his sister Amy have dedicated themselves to supplying the art materials industry with the best quality products available. With an emphasis on products that deliver a high level of craftsmanship and value to artists, Greg & Amy hope to inspire creativity in all who get their hands on da Vinci Brushes & Blockx Colors.

The Daniels family has been in the Art Materials business for 3 generations. Greg & Amy's grandfather founded a successful Artist Material & Architectural Supply store, H.G. Daniels Co. in Downtown Los Angeles with a branch in San Diego (Little Italy area). The original location was 621 S. Grand Street. In 1958, the company moved to 2543 W. Sixth (at Coronado).
Their grandfather H.G. ran the LA store for over 50 years with their father, Peter Daniels. H.G. Daniels Co. supplied many famous artists, movie studios and students from nearby Chouinard Art Institute, Otis Parsons (across the street) and Art Center. The store boasted the largest selection of artist materials in the U.S. for many decades as well as a terrific Art & Architecture Book department. The Daniels family sold the business in 1996.
